Dopo l’anteprima romana, il Caruso Tribute Prize ha attraversato l’oceano per la sua quinta edizione newyorkese, andata in scena dal 12 al 14 ottobre, in concomitanza con le celebrazioni del Columbus Day.
Un evento che, anche quest’anno, ha saputo unire musica, cultura e memoria, consolidando il suo ruolo di ponte tra Italia e Stati Uniti.
Si è aperto il 12 ottobre nella storica Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral di Manhattan, dove il pubblico ha applaudito le straordinarie esibizioni del tenore Alessandro Lora, del soprano Chiara Cremaschi, del pianista Alessandro Marini e della cantante spagnola Amalia.
Proprio Lora, voce potente e raffinata del pop lirico, già collaboratore di Arisa e Iva Zanicchi, è stato insignito del premio come nuovo talento internazionale.
Il 13 ottobre, i protagonisti hanno sfilato lungo la Fifth Avenue nella tradizionale Columbus Day Parade, in un tripudio di bandiere italiane, musica e orgoglio italoamericano.
La manifestazione si è conclusa il 14 ottobre con il Gran Galà all’Italian American Museum di Little Italy, autentico scrigno della memoria della diaspora italiana.

Ideato da Dante Mariti, produttore e musicista con una lunga carriera tra RAI, teatro e grandi eventi internazionali, il Caruso Tribute Prize si conferma una delle manifestazioni più eleganti e rappresentative del made in Italy all’estero. Un omaggio al genio, alla passione e alla bellezza senza confini della cultura italiana.
After its Roman preview, the Caruso Tribute Prize crossed the ocean for its fifth New York edition, held from October 12 to 14 in conjunction with the Columbus Day celebrations. The event once again brought together music, culture, and memory, strengthening its role as a bridge between Italy and the United States.
It opened on October 12 at the historic Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan, where the audience applauded the remarkable performances of tenor Alessandro Lora, soprano Chiara Cremaschi, pianist Alessandro Marini, and Spanish singer Amalia.
Lora, a powerful and refined voice of pop-opera and longtime collaborator of Arisa and Iva Zanicchi, was awarded as a new international talent.
On October 13, the honorees paraded along Fifth Avenue during the traditional Columbus Day Parade, a celebration filled with Italian flags, music, and the pride of the Italian-American community. The event concluded on October 14 with the Grand Gala at the Italian American Museum in Little Italy, a true symbol of the memory of Italian immigration to the United States.
