From July 15 to 17, Capri hosted the second edition of the event created through a partnership between the City of Capri and Golden Boys. At the Certosa di San Giacomo, music, entertainment, a tribute to Peppino Di Capri, and a new generation of artists came together in an evening that already looked ahead to 2027.
On July 15, the Auditorium at the Capri Convention Center hosted the final of the Capri Young Awards, a competition dedicated to emerging artists under the age of 30. The following day, July 16, the official press conference was held in the Donna Lucia Room at the Grand Hotel Quisisana, followed by a cocktail party and a special night at Anema e Core featuring Gianluigi Lembo.
The Capri Music Awards 2026 confirmed its place as one of the leading musical events of Capri’s summer season. Now in its second edition, the event transformed the island into an expansive stage, bringing together Italian music, entertainment, local identity, emerging talent, and cultural memory.
More than a single night of music, the project aims to present Capri as a vibrant, international, and instantly recognizable destination. The island is not simply the backdrop to the event, but an essential part of its story: elegant yet accessible, deeply musical, rooted in its history, and at the same time firmly focused on the future.
Created through a partnership between the City of Capri and Golden Boys, the event took place over three days, from July 15 to 17, 2026, across several of the island’s most iconic locations.
The main event took place on July 17 at the Certosa di San Giacomo, where live performances, award presentations, and moments of strong symbolic significance unfolded throughout the evening. An after-show celebration followed at Casa Tua, located inside Hotel La Palma.
Elisabetta Gregoraci, who had also served as the event’s ambassador during its inaugural edition, hosted the final evening alongside Nicolò De Devitiis, correspondent for the Italian television program Le Iene, who made his debut as co-host of the event. Together, they guided the audience through an evening that combined television-style pacing, elegance, and the atmosphere of a summer night in Capri.
The artistic lineup for the second edition included Malika Ayane, Ditonellapiaga, Samurai Jay, LDA, AKA 7even, Nicolò Filippucci. The final evening featured performances designed to appeal to different generations, bringing together established artists and performers with a strong connection to younger audiences.
One of the most meaningful moments of the 2026 edition was the tribute to Peppino Di Capri. The evening at the Certosa di San Giacomo opened in his memory, as the notes of “Champagne” were met with a long and heartfelt round of applause from the audience.
The tribute gave the event a deeper dimension. Capri was not only celebrating the music of the present, but also preserving an important part of the artistic heritage that has helped shape the island’s identity.
The Capri Music Awards also looked toward the future through the Capri Young Awards, the competition dedicated to emerging performers under 30. Devil A won the 2026 edition with the song “Stai sereno,” while one of the most powerful moments of the event focused on inclusion.
Alessandro Coppola, who has been deaf for 13 years, performed the song “AC22” on stage, delivering one of the most emotionally significant appearances of the entire program.
Equally important was the event’s dialogue with the Sanremo Music Festival, presented as a partnership between two symbolic locations in Italian music. The goal is not to compete with Sanremo, but to build a cultural and artistic bridge, offering young performers an alternative stage that is authoritative, prestigious, and recognizable.
This broader vision also includes the institutional work supporting the continued growth of major events on the island. Among the figures connected to the City of Capri’s major-events network is Carmen Pisano, who has previously been identified in institutional settings as a key figure in the organization of large-scale municipal events.
She has also been involved in projects that have strengthened Capri’s cultural ties with international organizations and communities.
During the Capri Music Awards, we asked her how she feels about the affection shown to her by the people of Capri, particularly since those who have worked with her frequently speak about her commitment to the island, always carried out with discretion and professionalism.
Her answer immediately shifted the perspective.
“I actually believe the exact opposite is true: Capri gives so much to me. Through the projects I have had the privilege of working on, and especially through the Capri Music Awards, I have met extraordinary people and received an affection that I will always carry in my heart. It is a tremendous honor for me to work with Salvatore Ciuccio, Councilor for Major Events, and with Golden Boys, sharing a project that continues to grow year after year.”
Her words reflect the value of work that often takes place far from the spotlight, yet remains essential to shaping events capable of leaving a lasting impression.
The success of a major event does not depend only on the stage, the performers, or the audience. It also depends on relationships, coordination, vision, and a genuine commitment to the local community.
Looking ahead, Carmen Pisano revealed that planning is already underway for the next edition of the Capri Music Awards.
“All I can say for now is that we are already working on the third edition of the Capri Music Awards in 2027. We are creating something important, with new ideas and an increasingly ambitious vision. There will certainly be no shortage of surprises.”
The second edition ultimately presented an event that is working to establish a clear and distinctive identity: not simply a red carpet, not merely a summer celebration, and not only an evening of entertainment.
The Capri Music Awards 2026 sought to create a broader narrative in which music meets memory, young artists are given meaningful opportunities, the local community becomes a central part of the experience, and the island strengthens its position within Italy’s cultural and musical landscape.
Once again, Capri was more than a backdrop. It was a voice, an atmosphere, and a promise.
And perhaps this is precisely where the event’s strength lies: in its ambition to become, year after year, an increasingly recognizable and influential part of Italy’s summer music season.
Dal 15 al 17 luglio Capri ha ospitato la seconda edizione dell’evento nato dalla collaborazione tra Città di Capri e Golden Boys. Alla Certosa di San Giacomo una serata tra spettacolo, nuove generazioni, omaggio a Peppino Di Capri e uno sguardo già rivolto al 2027.
Il Capri Music Awards 2026 ha confermato la sua identità di grande appuntamento musicale dell’estate caprese. Alla sua seconda edizione, la manifestazione ha trasformato l’isola in un palcoscenico diffuso, capace di unire musica italiana, spettacolo, territorio, giovani talenti e memoria.
Non una semplice serata musicale, ma un progetto che vuole raccontare Capri come luogo vivo, internazionale e riconoscibile. Un’isola che non si limita a essere scenario, ma diventa parte stessa della narrazione: elegante, popolare, musicale, profondamente legata alla propria storia e allo stesso tempo proiettata verso il futuro.
L’evento, nato dalla collaborazione tra Città di Capri e Golden Boys, si è svolto in tre giornate, dal 15 al 17 luglio 2026, attraversando alcuni luoghi simbolici dell’isola.
Il 15 luglio si è tenuta la finale del Capri Young Awards, contest dedicato agli artisti emergenti under 30, presso l’Auditorium del Centro Congressi di Capri. Il giorno successivo, il 16 luglio, il Grand Hotel Quisisana, nella Sala Donna Lucia, ha ospitato la conferenza stampa ufficiale, seguita da un cocktail party e da una special night all’Anema e Core con Gianluigi Lembo.
Il momento centrale della manifestazione è arrivato il 17 luglio, con la serata finale alla Certosa di San Giacomo, dove si sono alternati live show, premiazioni e momenti di forte valore simbolico. A seguire, l’after show presso Casa Tua, all’Hotel La Palma.
A guidare la serata finale è stata Elisabetta Gregoraci, già madrina della prima edizione, affiancata da Nicolò De Devitiis, inviato de Le Iene, al debutto nella conduzione dell’evento. Una coppia capace di accompagnare il pubblico in una serata che ha mescolato ritmo televisivo, eleganza e atmosfera estiva.
Nel cast artistico della seconda edizione figurano nomi come Malika Ayane, Ditonellapiaga, Samurai Jay, LDA, AKA 7even, Nicolò Filippucci. La serata finale ha visto performance capaci di intercettare pubblici diversi, unendo artisti già affermati e volti più vicini alle nuove generazioni.
Uno dei momenti più significativi dell’edizione 2026 è stato l’omaggio a Peppino Di Capri. La serata alla Certosa di San Giacomo si è aperta nel segno del ricordo, con le note di “Champagne” accolte da un lungo applauso del pubblico. Un tributo che ha restituito alla manifestazione una dimensione più profonda: Capri non celebra soltanto la musica del presente, ma custodisce anche quella parte di memoria artistica che appartiene alla sua identità.
Il Capri Music Awards ha dato spazio anche al futuro attraverso il Capri Young Awards, il contest dedicato agli emergenti under 30. Il vincitore dell’edizione 2026 è stato Devil A con il brano “Stai sereno”, mentre tra i momenti più intensi della kermesse si è distinto anche quello legato all’inclusione, con l’esibizione di Alessandro Coppola, ragazzo sordo da tredici anni, sul palco con il brano “AC22”.
Non meno importante il dialogo con Sanremo, presentato come un gemellaggio tra due luoghi simbolici della musica italiana. L’obiettivo non è competere con il Festival, ma costruire un ponte culturale e artistico, offrendo ai giovani un palcoscenico alternativo, autorevole e riconoscibile.
Dentro questo percorso si inserisce anche il lavoro istituzionale che accompagna la crescita degli eventi sull’isola. Tra le figure legate al sistema dei grandi eventi della Città di Capri emerge il nome di Carmen Pisano, già indicata in contesti istituzionali come figura di riferimento nell’organizzazione dei grandi eventi del Comune e coinvolta in progetti che hanno rafforzato il legame culturale tra Capri e realtà internazionali.
A margine del Capri Music Awards, le abbiamo chiesto cosa pensi dell’affetto che i capresi le dimostrano, visto che chiunque l’abbia incontrata racconta quanto faccia per l’isola, sempre con discrezione e professionalità.
La sua risposta ribalta subito la prospettiva:
“In realtà credo sia esattamente il contrario: è Capri che dà tantissimo a me. Grazie ai progetti che ho avuto il privilegio di seguire, e in particolare al Capri Music Awards, ho conosciuto persone straordinarie e ricevuto un affetto che porto nel cuore. È per me un grandissimo onore collaborare con l’Assessore ai Grandi Eventi, Salvatore Ciuccio, e con Golden Boys, condividendo un progetto che cresce anno dopo anno.”
Parole che raccontano il valore di un lavoro spesso lontano dai riflettori, ma fondamentale per dare forma a manifestazioni capaci di lasciare un segno. La macchina degli eventi non vive soltanto del palco, degli artisti e del pubblico: vive anche di relazioni, coordinamento, visione e cura del territorio.
E proprio guardando al futuro, Carmen Pisano anticipa che il percorso del Capri Music Awards è già proiettato verso la prossima edizione:
“Posso solo anticipare che siamo già al lavoro sulla terza edizione del Capri Music Awards 2027. Stiamo costruendo qualcosa di importante, con idee nuove e una visione sempre più ambiziosa. Le sorprese non mancheranno.”
Il bilancio della seconda edizione è quello di un evento che sta cercando una propria identità precisa: non solo red carpet, non solo estate, non solo intrattenimento. Il Capri Music Awards 2026 ha provato a costruire un racconto più ampio, dove la musica incontra la memoria, i giovani trovano spazio, il territorio diventa protagonista e l’isola rafforza il proprio ruolo nel panorama culturale e musicale italiano.
Capri, ancora una volta, non è stata soltanto uno sfondo. È stata voce, atmosfera, promessa. E forse proprio da qui nasce la forza di un evento che, anno dopo anno, ambisce a diventare un appuntamento sempre più riconoscibile dell’estate musicale italiana.
