Nei giorni scorsi, migliaia di persone—tra cittadini, ex collaboratori, personalità del mondo della moda, della politica e dello spettacolo—hanno fatto la fila in silenzio per rendere omaggio a Giorgio Armani nella camera ardente allestita presso l’Armani Teatro, nel capoluogo lombardo.
La bara in legno, sormontata da rose bianche e contornata da lanterne accese, si trovava in uno spazio espositivo tipicamente utilizzato per le sfilate, creando un’atmosfera raccolta e suggestiva.

Le esequie ufficiali si sono svolte in forma strettamente privata nel pomeriggio di lunedì 8 settembre 2025, a Rivalta di Gazzola, in provincia di Piacenza, accanto alla sua famiglia nel cimitero di famiglia.
Il paese è stato, per l’occasione, strettamente presidiato dalla security. Qui, Armani sarà sepolto nella cappella familiare dove giacciono già sua madre, suo padre e suo fratello.
