At Identity Milano Fashion Week, the Italian creative director and manager walked for Francesca Salvati Gioielli wearing a creation from the Metamorfosi di Luce collection. The appearance fits naturally into a career built across fashion, entertainment, music and image management.
MILAN – This time, Alessio Filippelli was not behind the scenes shaping an image, a strategy or a creative project. At Milan Fashion Week, he stepped directly into the spotlight.
Filippelli walked for Francesca Salvati Gioielli during Identity Milano Fashion Week by Laura Panigatti, wearing a piece created especially by the designer. Against an all-black look, the jewelry immediately became the focal point: deep blue stones, luminous accents and a sinuous serpent-inspired structure designed to follow the body rather than simply decorate it. His runway appearance was also featured by Harper’s Bazaar Canada on September 27.
That detail matters, because describing Filippelli simply as a model would tell only part of the story.
Born in 1999, he has worked over the years as a creative director, producer, manager, fashion consultant, PR strategist and model, moving between fashion and entertainment. In an interview with Different Magazine, he said he left Italy at 17 and later built part of his professional experience abroad.
In Milan, then, his presence on the runway takes on a different meaning: a professional accustomed to shaping the image of others became, for one evening, part of the image himself.
Metamorfosi di Luce: When Jewelry Follows the Body
The collection presented by Francesca Salvati Gioielli carries a title that captures its concept from the start: Metamorfosi di Luce, or Metamorphosis of Light.
At its core is the relationship between metal, gemstones and the human body. Jewelry is not treated as the final detail added to a look, but as something capable of reshaping the silhouette and becoming almost a second skin.
That idea gives rise to sculptural corsets, intricate metal structures, cascading stones and compositions designed to move with the wearer. Deep sapphire tones are paired with crosses, geometric chains and serpent-inspired forms, while feathers and more fluid elements visually soften the strength of the metal.
The contrast is constant: weight and lightness, rigidity and movement, precious materials and theatricality.
In Filippelli’s look, the all-black base gave Salvati’s creation nearly all the visual space. The jewelry did not simply complete the outfit; it defined its shape and character.
That is where the philosophy of the collection becomes clearest. The accessory steps out of a supporting role and moves to the foreground, turning the wearer into part of the composition itself.
From Rome to the United States: A Career Across Fashion and Entertainment
Filippelli’s Milan Fashion Week appearance comes after years spent building a deliberately multifaceted professional profile.
In 2024, Forbes Italia published a feature on his work as a young creative director, citing experience in production and consulting tied to tours, albums and film projects, as well as collaborations associated with companies and franchises including Disney, Nickelodeon, Halo, Star Wars and Paramount Plus. The article appeared in the BrandVoice section, identified by Forbes as a paid program, an important distinction when placing the piece in its proper editorial context.
That same year, music became a more defined part of his career. Billboard Argentina reported on his agreement with music distribution company Vydia, describing him as a talent agent and manager involved in developing and representing independent artists.
At the same time, image strategy has increasingly become one of the most recognizable aspects of his work.
In 2026, for example, he appeared in the credits of an international feature on Katherine Kelly Lang, longtime star of The Bold and the Beautiful, in the role of executive direction and PR. In an interview with inItaly, Filippelli explained that this part of his career has been evolving toward what he describes as 360-degree identity consulting and image curation.
Image as a Language
This is probably the element that best connects the different areas of Filippelli’s work.
In interviews over the past few years, themes of storytelling, identity and image come up repeatedly, with image treated not simply as a way to be seen, but as a way to communicate something.
In a July 2026 interview with FashionX, he described his work largely through the lens of storytelling, explaining his interest in projects where fashion, entertainment, branding and visual language can intersect. He also discussed upcoming work involving film, creative direction and international collaborations.
In inItaly, meanwhile, the concept of “visual resistance” emerges: a view of image not as simple aesthetics, but as a tool through which identity can be built and defended.
Seen from that perspective, the decision to walk the runway wearing such a strongly sculptural piece feels consistent with the direction of his career. It is not simply a styling exercise, but a visual construction in which body, clothing and object become part of the same narrative.
A 2026 Between Rome, Venice and Milan
The Milan runway appearance also follows several events that kept Filippelli active within fashion and entertainment throughout 2026.
In May, he hosted Roma Eterea, an event dedicated to fashion, beauty and visual arts at the Salone delle Colonne in Rome’s EUR district. The format combined runway presentations, performances and encounters between designers, industry professionals and the public.
In September, he also appeared on the red carpet at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival for the screening of Scherzetto.
Just a few days later, Milan saw him on the other side of the runway.
That may be the most interesting aspect of his appearance at Identity Milano Fashion Week: Filippelli usually works on the image of others and on the development of creative projects, but with Metamorfosi di Luce he personally became the surface through which that image took shape.
For Francesca Salvati, jewelry should be able to interact with the body to the point of transforming it. In the look worn by Filippelli, that idea was immediately visible: the black outfit nearly disappeared into the background, while metal, blue stones and serpent-like lines took over the scene.
No longer jewelry as the final detail of an outfit, but as the point from which the entire look begins.
L’immagine come linguaggio
