The grand finale of Big Brother Nip Italy 2025, broadcast on Thursday, December 18 on Canale 5, opened under the sign of emotion and closed with a clear but far from conciliatory verdict. Simona Ventura, visibly involved, experienced the night with the same tension as the contestants themselves. For her, it was the first finale at the helm of the reality show. Inside the House, five finalists remained, Jonas, Omer, Giulia, Grazia and Anita, ready to face an episode built around confrontations, surprises and rapid-fire televotes.
It was a finale that put an end to a divisive season, constantly under scrutiny, widely discussed and often criticized, yet never truly ignored. At the press presentation, the intent was clear: a return to “nip” contestants, fewer external interferences, tighter control over the narrative and a hosting style focused more on rigor than excess. Yet already in the first month, cracks began to appear. The rules gradually softened, while the contestants seemed cautious, overly aware of the external gaze. The result was a restrained narrative, with slowed-down dynamics and a rhythm that at times bordered on narrative lethargy.
The final night, however, attempted to pull everything back together. It began with the confrontation between Jonas and Omer, two protagonists of a relationship defined more by clashes than by clarifications. Called to the Super Led for what was described as the definitive face-to-face, both admitted mistakes and vulnerabilities. Omer acknowledged the possibility of Jonas winning, without hiding the wounds left by their arguments. Jonas, for his part, took responsibility for the words spoken in moments of anger, reiterating that despite the tensions, respect had never truly disappeared. More a truce than a reconciliation, but enough to provide symbolic closure to one of the few real fractures of the season.
Emotions rose further with the entrance of Jonas’s father. An intimate meeting marked by embraces and words that spoke of distance, silence and pride not always expressed. The recognition of his son’s independent path felt like a belated repair, received with restraint. Shortly after, Anita also entered that family narrative, receiving paternal approval and even a piece of life advice: follow opportunities, even if that means leaving Rome behind.
An equally intense moment came for Omer, who after months of separation was reunited with his mother, who had traveled from Turkey specifically for him, on her first-ever flight. First came messages from his sisters, whom he considers like daughters, then a symbolic journey through the House, a letter, the wait and finally the embrace. Omer broke down in tears, overwhelmed by joy, as his mother asked him not to distance himself again. A fragment of authentic emotional television, softened only by the contestant’s irony about his weight loss.
Anita, on the other hand, experienced a collective surprise. Friends entered one after another to remind her that she had never truly been alone. A star in the garden, the freeze, words of affection that led her to admit a misperception: feeling isolated when, in reality, a solid and silent bond had always been there.
The competition then continued with the televote between Giulia and Grazia. Giulia received a visit from her father and siblings, an explosion of affection that quite literally overwhelmed her. Family jokes lightened the moment, while her mother’s entrance completed the emotional picture. Grazia, by contrast, delivered one of the most spontaneous moments of the night: running through the House in search of the right phone to hear her mother’s voice, between laughter and tears, until her sister finally entered.
Unexpectedly, three symbolic figures from the history of Big Brother also entered the House: Cristina Plevani, Floriana Secondi and Ascanio Pacelli. Each chose a finalist to support, offering words that struck deeply. Giulia was swept away by emotion, while Jonas reflected on the weight of those statements, aware that he had left a mark that went beyond rankings.
Meanwhile, outside the House, social media was ablaze. Some labeled the season subdued, others criticized the finalists, and some openly claimed that Big Brother had lost its meaning. Audiences, after all, do not live on good intentions. They live on contrasts, emotional cracks, on that “good” kind of trash capable of turning fragility into storytelling. When that was missing, ratings began to dip. Then, on Halloween night, came the first real narrative jolt with the entrance of Valentina, Domenico’s partner, proving that the foundations were there, but the courage to push them further was not.
The flash televotes ultimately decided the contestants’ fate. Omer Elomari exited the game as fifth place, followed by Grazia Kendi in fourth. Jonas Pepe stopped at the third step of the podium. The final duel saw Giulia Soponariu facing Anita Mazzotta. Before the verdict, the two symbolically turned off the lights of the House, retracing the moments lived within those walls. Then the result: Anita winner, Giulia second, by a handful of votes.
At the center of everything, from start to finish, stood Simona Ventura. Not only as host, but as a narrative figure of the season itself. She carried with her the woman behind the motto “Always believe, never give up,” mature, not impermeable to fragility, capable of turning every fall into a defining scene. Fragile and fierce, poetic and ironic, Simona Ventura is spectacle herself. Not all stars fade; some choose to shine when you least expect it.
Beside her, a panel of commentators that layered the narrative. Cristina Plevani as historical memory, Floriana Secondi as popular instinct, Ascanio Pacelli as a balanced gaze, and Sonia Bruganelli, who joined mid-season, as a divisive and sharp presence. An imperfect balance, yet coherent with the identity of the edition.
Big Brother Nip Italy 2025 divided opinions, sparked controversy and fueled debate. Now the House lights are off. Perhaps it truly is time for the format to allow itself a pause, letting what has been settle before returning, if it returns at all, to tell its story again.

La finalissima del Grande Fratello Nip Italia 2025, andata in onda giovedì 18 dicembre su Canale 5, si è aperta sotto il segno dell’emozione e si è chiusa con un verdetto netto, ma non pacificatore. Simona Ventura, visibilmente coinvolta, con la stessa tensione dei concorrenti: per lei era la prima finale alla guida del reality. In Casa, cinque finalisti – Jonas, Omer, Giulia, Grazia e Anita – pronti ad affrontare una puntata costruita su confronti, sorprese e televoti lampo.
Una finale che ha messo il punto a un’edizione divisiva, costantemente sotto osservazione, discussa e spesso criticata, ma mai davvero ignorata. Alla presentazione alla stampa, l’intento era chiaro: ritorno ai concorrenti “nip”, riduzione delle interferenze esterne, maggiore controllo del racconto e una conduzione improntata al rigore più che all’eccesso. Tuttavia, già nel primo mese, qualcosa ha iniziato a incrinarsi. Le regole si sono progressivamente ammorbidite, mentre i concorrenti apparivano prudenti, fin troppo consapevoli dello sguardo esterno. Il risultato è stato un racconto trattenuto, con dinamiche rallentate e un ritmo che, a tratti, ha sfiorato il letargo narrativo.
La serata finale ha però provato a ricompattare tutto. Si è partiti dal confronto tra Jonas e Omer, due protagonisti di un rapporto più fatto di scontri che di chiarimenti. Chiamati in Super Led per quello che è stato definito il faccia a faccia definitivo, i due hanno ammesso errori e fragilità. Omer ha riconosciuto la possibilità di una vittoria di Jonas, senza nascondere le ferite lasciate dai litigi. Jonas, dal canto suo, si è assunto la responsabilità delle parole pronunciate nei momenti di rabbia, ribadendo che, al di là delle tensioni, il rispetto non è mai venuto meno. Più una tregua che una riconciliazione, ma sufficiente a dare una chiusura simbolica a una delle poche vere fratture dell’edizione.
L’emotività è salita ulteriormente con l’ingresso del padre di Jonas. Un incontro intimo, segnato da abbracci e parole che hanno raccontato distanze, silenzi e un orgoglio non sempre dichiarato. Il riconoscimento del percorso autonomo del figlio ha avuto il sapore di una riparazione tardiva, accolta con pudore. Poco dopo, anche Anita è entrata in scena in quel racconto familiare, ricevendo l’approvazione paterna e persino un consiglio di vita: seguire le opportunità, anche lontano da Roma.
Momento altrettanto intenso per Omer, che dopo mesi di lontananza ha ritrovato la madre, arrivata dalla Turchia appositamente per lui, alla sua prima esperienza in aereo. Prima i messaggi delle sorelle, che considera come figlie, poi un percorso simbolico nella Casa, una lettera, l’attesa e infine l’abbraccio. Omer si è sciolto in lacrime, travolto dalla gioia, mentre la madre gli ha chiesto di non allontanarsi più. Un frammento di televisione emotiva autentica, alleggerito solo dall’ironia del gieffino sulla perdita di peso.
Anita, invece, ha vissuto una sorpresa collettiva: gli amici, uno dopo l’altro, a ricordarle che non è mai stata davvero sola. Una stella nel giardino, il freeze, parole di affetto che l’hanno portata ad ammettere un errore di percezione: sentirsi isolata quando, in realtà, attorno c’era un legame solido e silenzioso.
La gara è poi proseguita con il televoto tra Giulia e Grazia. Giulia ha ricevuto la visita del padre e dei fratelli, un’esplosione di affetto che l’ha letteralmente travolta. Le battute familiari hanno alleggerito il momento, mentre l’ingresso della madre ha completato il quadro emotivo. Grazia, al contrario, ha regalato uno dei momenti più spontanei della serata: la corsa per la Casa alla ricerca del telefono giusto per ascoltare la voce della madre, tra risate e lacrime, fino all’ingresso della sorella.
A sorpresa, sono entrati anche tre volti simbolo della storia del Grande Fratello: Cristina Plevani, Floriana Secondi e Ascanio Pacelli. Ognuno ha scelto un finalista da sostenere, lasciando parole che hanno colpito nel profondo. Giulia si è lasciata travolgere dall’emozione, Jonas ha riflettuto sul peso di quelle frasi, consapevole di aver lasciato un segno che va oltre la classifica.
Intanto, fuori dalla Casa, i social si incendiavano. C’è chi ha definito l’edizione sottotono, chi ha contestato le finaliste e chi ha parlato apertamente di un Grande Fratello ormai svuotato di senso. Il pubblico, del resto, non vive di buone intenzioni: vive di contrasti, di crepe emotive, di quel trash “buono” capace di trasformare una fragilità in racconto. Quando questo è mancato, gli ascolti hanno iniziato a flettere. Poi, nella notte di Halloween, la prima vera scossa narrativa con l’ingresso di Valentina, compagna di Domenico, a dimostrazione che le fondamenta c’erano, ma mancava il coraggio di spingerle fino in fondo.
I televoti flash hanno infine deciso il destino dei concorrenti. Omer Elomari ha lasciato il gioco come quinto classificato, seguito da Grazia Kendi al quarto posto. Jonas Pepe si è fermato al terzo gradino del podio. Il duello finale ha visto contrapposte Giulia Soponariu e Anita Mazzotta. Prima del verdetto, le due hanno spento simbolicamente le luci della Casa, ripercorrendo i momenti vissuti tra quelle mura. Poi il risultato: Anita vincitrice, Giulia seconda, per una manciata di voti.
Al centro di tutto, dall’inizio alla fine, Simona Ventura. Non solo conduttrice, ma figura narrativa dell’edizione. Porta con sé la donna del motto “Crederci sempre, arrendersi mai”: matura, non impermeabile alle fragilità, capace di trasformare ogni caduta in una scena madre. Fragile e feroce, poetica e ironica, Simona Ventura è spettacolo lei stessa. Non tutte le stelle si spengono: alcune scelgono di brillare quando meno te lo aspetti.
Accanto a lei, un parterre di opinionisti che ha stratificato il racconto: Cristina Plevani come memoria storica, Floriana Secondi come istinto popolare, Ascanio Pacelli come sguardo equilibrato, Sonia Bruganelli – subentrata in corsa – come elemento divisivo e tagliente. Un equilibrio imperfetto, ma coerente con l’identità dell’edizione.
Il Grande Fratello Nip Italia 2025 ha diviso, acceso polemiche e alimentato dibattiti. Ora le luci della Casa si sono spente. Forse è davvero il momento che il format si conceda una pausa, lasciando sedimentare ciò che è stato, prima di tornare – se tornerà – a raccontarsi.
