La Terrazza della Dolce Vita has now reached its seventh edition. Seven years of encounters, personal testimonies, music, and intimate conversations shared with an ever-growing audience. The event began quietly during a difficult period, when the world was trying to find its footing again after the pandemic.
“La Terrazza della Dolce Vita was created to support the Batani family, the owners of this hotel, after Covid,” Giovanni and Simona explain.
At first, they mainly invited friends to share their experiences and thoughts. Those interviews soon began to win over the audience. Year after year, attendance grew, the media started taking notice, and television gave a wider voice to a project born from a genuine desire to help.
Since then, the terrace has welcomed some of the best-known figures in Italian culture, music, and entertainment. Yet beyond the famous names and public recognition, the true heart of the event has always been its stories.
Stories that capture contemporary Italy, its transformations, its wounds, and its hopes. Some are light and uplifting, while others compel the audience to pause and listen.
Among the subjects that have most deeply shaped the journey of La Terrazza, Simona Ventura points to violence against women.

“We also try to address very serious issues,” Simona explains, while also recalling the presence of some of Italy’s most prominent singers.

The same desire to offer opportunities and guidance can be found in VenturAcademy, the project through which Simona Ventura helps young people recognize their talent and find their way in the challenging world of entertainment.
When asked what a young person should do today to pursue a career in such a fascinating yet difficult industry, Giovanni Terzi offers no easy formulas.
“You have to follow your dreams with strength and determination, without feeling defeated by the first setback. You have to endure, get back on your feet, and keep moving forward, even when the path seems uncertain. In the end, you will find your way.”
According to Terzi, the real secret is patience—a virtue that is becoming increasingly rare in a world that demands immediate results, instant success, and quick answers. Dreams, however, often move at a different pace. They require consistency, sacrifice, and the ability to keep believing even when no one seems to have noticed you yet.
A Love That Never Goes to Bed Angry
Simona Ventura and Giovanni Terzi are also admired for the harmony and connection they share in public. They do not try to present themselves as a perfect couple, removed from everyday reality. Tra il profumo del mare, l’eleganza senza tempo delle sue sale e l’eco di una Dolce Vita che continua a vivere nell’immaginario collettivo, Simona Ventura e Giovanni Terzi hanno costruito negli anni uno spazio in cui le parole diventano racconto, memoria e ascolto.
La Terrazza della Dolce Vita è arrivata alla sua settima edizione. Sette anni di incontri, testimonianze, musica e confidenze affidate a un pubblico sempre più numeroso. Una manifestazione nata quasi in punta di piedi, in un periodo difficile, quando il mondo cercava di rialzarsi dopo la pandemia.
«La Terrazza della Dolce Vita è nata per dare una mano alla famiglia Batani, proprietaria di questo hotel, dopo il Covid», raccontano Giovanni e Simona.
All’inizio c’erano soprattutto gli amici, chiamati per condividere esperienze e pensieri. Poi quelle interviste hanno cominciato a conquistare il pubblico. Anno dopo anno, le persone sono aumentate, i media hanno iniziato a interessarsi alla manifestazione e la televisione ha amplificato la voce di un progetto nato dal desiderio di aiutare.
Da allora, sulla terrazza sono passati volti noti della cultura, della musica e dello spettacolo italiano. Ma, dietro i nomi e la notorietà, il vero centro della manifestazione sono sempre rimaste le storie.
Storie capaci di raccontare l’Italia del presente, le sue trasformazioni, le sue ferite e le sue speranze. Storie leggere e luminose, ma anche testimonianze che obbligano a fermarsi e ad ascoltare.
Tra i temi che hanno maggiormente segnato il percorso della Terrazza, Simona Ventura indica quello della violenza contro le donne.
Ogni anno viene accolta la testimonianza di una protagonista, una donna che trova il coraggio di raccontare ciò che ha vissuto. Non si tratta soltanto di portare un caso davanti al pubblico, ma di restituire un volto e una voce a un fenomeno che troppo spesso viene ridotto a numeri, titoli o statistiche.

«Cerchiamo di trattare anche temi molto profondi», spiega Simona, ricordando contemporaneamente la presenza dei più importanti cantanti italiani.

Ai giovani: non arrendersi alla prima caduta
Lo stesso desiderio di offrire opportunità e ascolto si ritrova nella VenturAcademy, il progetto con cui Simona Ventura cerca di aiutare i giovani a riconoscere il proprio talento e a trovare una strada nel complesso mondo dello spettacolo.
Alla domanda su che cosa dovrebbe fare oggi un ragazzo per avvicinarsi a un settore tanto affascinante quanto difficile, Giovanni Terzi risponde senza cercare formule facili.
«Bisogna seguire i propri sogni con forza e tenacia, senza considerarsi sconfitti alla prima caduta. Bisogna resistere, rialzarsi e continuare ad andare avanti, anche quando la strada appare incerta. Alla fine la propria strada la troverai sicuramente».
Il vero segreto, secondo lui, è avere pazienza. Una virtù sempre più rara in un mondo che pretende risultati immediati, successo veloce e risposte istantanee. Ma i sogni hanno spesso tempi diversi dai nostri. Chiedono costanza, sacrificio e la capacità di continuare a crederci anche quando nessuno sembra ancora accorgersi di noi.
Un amore che non va a dormire arrabbiato
Simona Ventura e Giovanni Terzi sono osservati anche per la sintonia e la complicità che mostrano pubblicamente. Non cercano di rappresentare una coppia perfetta, distante dalla realtà. Al contrario, raccontano con naturalezza di litigare, discutere e confrontarsi come accade in ogni relazione autentica.
Il loro segreto non è l’assenza dei conflitti, ma il modo in cui scelgono di superarli.
«Il nostro segreto è amarci, amare lavorare insieme e soprattutto non andare a letto arrabbiati», raccontano.
