From February 22 to 27, 2026, just a few steps from the Teatro Ariston, in Via Escoffier, next to the statue of Mike Bongiorno, the Gaslini Corner comes to life: an information and fundraising space dedicated to the New Gaslini project. A quiet yet powerful presence, positioned at the very center of Italy’s most media driven event.
The Giannina Gaslini Institute of Genoa, one of Italy’s leading pediatric institutions and a national reference point for research and high specialization, has chosen Festival week to speak about the future. Not the future of hit songs, but the future of children.
The New Gaslini project represents a strategic plan to renovate and expand the pediatric hospital, with the goal of modernizing facilities, technologies, and welcoming spaces for young patients and their families. It is an investment in care, in research, and in the dignity of hospital environments.
The visible symbol of the initiative will be 3,000 Pon Pon “Giannina” ranunculus flowers, hybridized and donated by Biancheri Creazioni. The flowers will be offered through voluntary donations via the Fondazione Gaslininsieme ETS to support the construction of the new hospital. A simple, almost delicate gesture that, during the brightest week of the year, takes on a different weight. A flower among the lights, a thought among the cameras.
The program does not stop at the corner.
On Sunday, February 22, the Charity Night will take place aboard the Costa Toscana, organized with the support of Costa Crociere, combining entertainment and fundraising in a setting of strong international visibility.
On Tuesday, February 24, Vanni Oddera will be present, the freestyle athlete known for his social inclusion projects and his commitment to children hospitalized in pediatric wards.
On Thursday, February 26, there will be a meeting with Mattia Villardita, known throughout Italy as the “Spiderman of hospitals” for his volunteer work in pediatric departments.
On Friday, February 27, the Superhero Acrobats will perform, an association that brings moments of lightness and wonder to hospitalized children, transforming hospital walls into stages of hope.
This initiative is not a side event. It is a message.
During its most watched week, Sanremo becomes a space for concrete solidarity. The Gaslini initiative brings together research, territory, and popular culture in a rare balance, using the visibility of the Festival to support a structural and permanent healthcare project.
Music fills the squares, solidarity builds hospitals, and perhaps, between a red carpet and a standing ovation, this is the most important note to listen to.
C’è un’altra musica che si ascolta durante la settimana di Sanremo, non passa dall’Ariston, non sale in classifica ma resta.
Dal 22 al 27 febbraio 2026, a pochi passi dal Teatro Ariston, in via Escoffier, accanto alla statua di Mike Bongiorno, prende vita il Corner Gaslini: uno spazio informativo e di raccolta fondi dedicato al progetto del Nuovo Gaslini. Un presidio silenzioso ma potente, nel centro esatto della kermesse più mediatica d’Italia.
L’Istituto Giannina Gaslini di Genova, una delle principali realtà pediatriche italiane e punto di riferimento nazionale per la ricerca e l’alta specializzazione, sceglie la settimana del Festival per parlare di futuro. Non quello delle hit, ma quello dei bambini.
Il progetto del Nuovo Gaslini rappresenta un piano strategico di rinnovamento e ampliamento dell’ospedale pediatrico, con l’obiettivo di modernizzare strutture, tecnologie e spazi di accoglienza per piccoli pazienti e famiglie. Un investimento sulla cura, sulla ricerca e sulla dignità degli ambienti di degenza.
A diventare simbolo visibile dell’iniziativa saranno 3.000 ranuncoli Pon Pon “Giannina”, ibridati e donati da Biancheri Creazioni. I fiori verranno proposti con offerta libera attraverso la Fondazione Gaslininsieme ETS per sostenere la realizzazione del nuovo ospedale. Un gesto semplice, quasi delicato, che durante la settimana più luminosa dell’anno assume un peso diverso. Un fiore tra le luci, un pensiero tra le telecamere.

Domenica 22 febbraio è prevista la Charity Night a bordo di Costa Toscana, organizzata con il supporto di Costa Crociere, evento che unisce intrattenimento e raccolta fondi in un contesto di forte visibilità internazionale.
Martedì 24 febbraio sarà presente Vanni Oddera, atleta freestyle noto per i suoi progetti di inclusione sociale e per l’impegno nei confronti dei bambini ricoverati.
Giovedì 26 febbraio è atteso l’incontro con Mattia Villardita, conosciuto in tutta Italia come lo “Spiderman degli ospedali”, per il suo impegno volontario nei reparti pediatrici.
Venerdì 27 febbraio spazio allo spettacolo dei Supereroi Acrobatici, associazione che porta momenti di leggerezza e meraviglia ai bambini ricoverati, trasformando le pareti degli ospedali in quinte teatrali di speranza.
Questa iniziativa non è un evento collaterale, è un messaggio.
Sanremo, durante la sua settimana più osservata, diventa territorio di solidarietà concreta. L’operazione del Gaslini unisce ricerca, territorio e cultura popolare in un equilibrio raro: usare la visibilità del Festival per sostenere un progetto sanitario strutturale e permanente.
La musica riempie le piazze, la solidarietà costruisce ospedali e forse, tra un red carpet e una standing ovation, è questa la nota più importante da ascoltare.
